Re: 2016 Verbal: Jabril Cox
I may not rest my starters but I darn sure don't play anybody who is a bit dinged up and I get my A-list guys out of any game as soon as i'm comfortable with the score. Also, this playing time for second string guys is super valuable in the future, this year and next. I for sure would be looking at who can step up at linebacker, the only thin position on this roster. Young and talented reserves.

Here was a interesting breakdown of Jabril by Kyle Emanuel and Grant Olson.

Re: 2016 Verbal: Jabril Cox
After watching Olson and Kyle break down Jabril's season, its clear why statistically he was down.
If he lines up in Merc's position I think he easily gets double digit tackles/game.
Talk about an ultimate team player. You think a kid like that is gonna bail on his brothers for his last season? That aint NDSU's culture.
Re: 2016 Verbal: Jabril Cox
Yup. It’s hard to get the tackle stats when you are running around shutting down receivers. I’d love to see him in the middle head hunting.

Not having to sub out both OLB against 4 WR spreads is huge. Just check the JMU game their stud slot 1000+ yard slot receiver was essentially non existent in that game

Jabril looked very good early in the season. Getting hurt may have slowed him down a couple games.
