You didn't elaborate at all on why I said nd should be out. Their ny6 performances have been awful, bud
I expect a good game against UGA next year. They had a friggin' awesome battle last year in South Bend. I might even make the drive up the Athens for that one.
They've played in 3 NY6/BCS games during the Kelly Administration.
1. 2012 Alabama. Dirty good Alabama team. They were a K-State upset loss against Baylor from being National Champs.
2. 2015 Ohio State. Defending Champs. Probably up there with this year's Alabama team for best team to not win the Natty during the playoff era. Honestly, the only memorable thing about that game was the best linebacker prospect maybe of all time having an almost career ending injury.
3. 2018 Clemson. Say no more.
Nobody can defend ND's NY6/BCS record, but man have they had piss poor luck with the Kelly teams. The Weis and Willingham teams were terrible compared to the Kelly teams. No player on the 2019 team next year was around during 2012 or 2015. Some of the guys weren't even alive during the original BCS bowl embarrassment back when they got beat by Ocho Cinco and Houshmanzadeh(sp?).

Georgia may return 17 starters, but with Tua it will be hard to see Bama not getting back. Georgia Bama Clemson are dominating recruiting.

Gotta be nice being able to recruit guys who can barely read.
Ugh, such is life.
Re: 2018 FBS Scores/Updates
Clemson went over fake field goals Saban had done in the past during the day Monday.

Must be nice not having to win a conference championship and getting special exceptions because the school won games in the 80s.

Alabama didn't make it to their title game last year and still made the playoff.
Ohio State in 2016...same deal.
Only time anyone cares about conference titles is when Notre Dame pops up lmao.

But they also get special treatment. Would Liberty, Army, Air Force was or Navy get that as an independent? Nope.

Navy isn't independent. Liberty, Army, and Air Force aren't going 12-0 against schedules like you see below either.
They play 5 ACC's annually.
They play USC, Navy, and Stanford annually.
^Consider this their conference schedule. This never changes. These 8 games are locked in.
They play a marquee home/home annually against a big dog (Michigan, Georgia, Texas, A&M, Alabama, Ohio State, are all on future schedules) and then they usually play a couple pud teams that are either G5 or low-mid level P5 schools.
Do they get treated differently? I suppose, but nobody in their right mind is going to compare them with Liberty, Army, or Air Force.
They are contractually obligated to join the ACC in the event they give up their football independence. I hope they don't give it up. Then they switch to 8 ACC games, and that leaves only 4 games to try to fit in USC, Stanford, Navy, big home-home or neutral site game, and the typical G5 cupcake games. I don't see how that would really improve their schedule most seasons.
