He is a slick willy. Every time I hear him on the radio I just end up shaking my head. He's a used car salesman.

Selling little green cars?

Sometimes I think Fleck might be the real deal...
Then I remember that Minnesota hired him.

Piss off much of the outside the metro part of the state is all good for me and good for the Bison. Looks to be walked in the footsteps of Brewster. Talked to parents of a K-State player and they used the "used car salesman" label for Ron Prince when he coached KSU. Their son was thrilled when Bill Synder returned.

My initial thought is this....total blowhard trying to say the right things.
We'll see if he gets it done. I doubt it.

So you're saying that hypothetically if you were KC Bison you wouldn't be hypothetically pissed? :hide:
Re: Pro-day at U of Minn locks out local colleges
Agree it is bad PR for the Gophs. Minnesotans do love their small-school brethren and success stories (like a certain Detroit Lakes WR currently employed by the Vikes.....)
However, and I have seen this elsewhere, PJ Fleck says they will bring in other athletes upon request of NFL scouts.
It is mentioned in the article.....
Quote:
"You start to see every aspect of things," Fleck said. "Not just from a college side, you start to see it from an NFL side as well. We are going to do it for the University of Minnesota athletes, and then
what we are going to do, upon request from the National Football League, (is add) other people that they want to see. It's up to them.
"We want to help the National Football League, and we want to help college-student athletes. One thing I will say (with) the NFL is if you are even close, they will request you. If they request them, we will make sure that they are on our campus."
It still is an opportunity for NDSU - reach out to all the NSIC schools - you are welcome here - the more prospective draft picks on campus, the more scouts you will attract.....

Lets see where that bravado gets him. Remember Brewster and Mason and contrast them with Jerry Kill.

Blowhard is a good description for a lot of their fans.
