Was it impressive nonetheless? Yes.
Underthrown? We must be watching a different video. Also, the throw was high and over the top so it couldn’t be batted down. Dropped it on a dime.

I agree with this. If the (top notch) defender tried to break that pass up he would’ve had to climb on his back and it would have been PI.

Mertens the Jr vs Trey the Frosh? Good argument.

Trey will be allowed to play, unlike Mertens. He has a high quality backup.
Side note...Trey looks really, really good. I was not expecting this. He looks like he could be starting at numerous P5 schools right now.

This coming from the same who led the Jose Mohler bandwagon after the Kansas win...
Re: Trey>Carson>Stick>Jensen Dont reply.
I haven't read the whole thread, but I thought this was obvious to everyone.

Not that this means anything, but a HS FB coach told me he got the chance to watch NDSU practice before they had named Trey the starter. He said that freshman QB was the real deal. He was putting passes in only spots where his receivers could catch them. This guy isn't a huge Bison homer. He probably called him "freshman QB" because he didn't know his name.

If it's 70 degrees outside and 4 mph wind do you say it's not good enough? Pass was right on.

Your a dumb ass
Re: Trey>Carson>Stick>Jensen Dont reply.
Anyone that knows anything knows Trey was the shit before today. I’ve already said he was an NFL guy. I’ll double down now and say 3rd round pick. But fortunately we got him for at least 3 years.
