More pass routes for our TE's, they are the best corps in the FCS, and perhaps even all of CFB; and TR is grossly under-using them.
More of Jimmy football running real slot receiver routes, and leave the the post routes down the center of the field to Babicz and Gindorf
And somebody really needs to get in Trey's face and tell him to hit his receivers on the numbers and forget about throwing an interception. The kid is playing scared because of his freak success in not throwing an int.
They may even need to threaten to bench him. He needs to know that his apprehension is obvious to everyone and that it won't be tolerated.
He has bee over throwing and throwing wide of his receivers the whole second half of the season and it's getting worse. Even on a lot of completions our receivers are having to make difficult catches because he is trying to play it safe.
Tre had a bad game, but he's our best player and my personal favorite player. Being conservative means zero turnovers. That's how you win with a good defense

Smash them in the mouth and then repeat again and again.

We've tried that the past two weeks, not so sure it's going to good enough for the third week in a row. Would love to see Bison come out with some energy next week. Maybe try some outside runs, pass the ball the down the field a bit to open up some inside runs.

TE over the middle is a weakness
Re: How do we attack the kitties
Yeah I hope we use our TE's down the seams. Seems TR forgot they even exist yesterday.

Let hope it doesn't get in the gameplan this week either
Re: How do we attack the kitties
I would be the worst person to analyze a game and say what we need to do different. I can say the play calling to me needs some different/more wrinkles to the offence.
They seem to mimic and are very patterned in how they do business on O. JM2¢

So what if they are scouting NDSU better. I guess we can’t keep doing what has won championships.
Re: How do we attack the kitties
I get what you are saying but I'm not so sure it will continue to work that way the rest of this season.. We don't have the experience we have had with this group as we have with last years group. 25 seniors left new faces in key spots and a freshman QB.
