I hope the fact Shep was still catching kicks after his mistakes is a good sign. Hopefully they think Shep can still be coached into an NFL receiver.
His confidence has to be shot right now. He looked totally defeated fielding that last punt.

I’m thinking that had more to do with fact that Packers didn’t have anyone else to do so/that practiced enough.

Who'd be left to play pro ball if everyone got cut for having one bad outing?

The good news is I thought I heard the commentator say that the Packers fumbled 10 returns last year? Seems high but if true at least they’re conditioned

I’m grasping at straws here, man. Just hope he admits his mistake. If he tries blaming Rodgers for misplacing the ball to the coaching staff like some here, he’ll be gone.
If he owns up, hopefully he gets another shot.

Yeah that doesn't sound like something Shep would do.

He doesn't need to say anything but "I need to make that play".

I hope he lives up to the Bison name by owning up to it, unlike a number of posters here who want to excuse it by saying the ball was misplaced.

Hopefully, he'll say just that. And likewise, hopefully Rogers will say "I threw a shitty ball."
