I worked with him when we were both assistant coaches at NDSU which makes him relevant to this board. I also was an assistant coach of his at the U of Mary for 5 years.
Coach Thorson retired this summer. He was a champion for the sport of track and field in our state and had an amazing level of success. It was an honor to have coached with him. Thank you Mike for all you did for this sport in our state!
