Neil threw again last night. 2 innings 2 runs on 3 hits with 4 strike outs. On the season he is 1-0 with a save a 5.06 ERA in 5 1/3 innings with 8 strike outs so far.
Hopefully he gets another call up! Maybe the twins will trade for him before the trade deadline.
Wagner is back up for the A's. Sounds like he will be the long-relief guy for the time being.

He has been sent back down to the minors as the A's claimed a pitcher off of waivers and added him to the 25 man roster. Neil did not pitch in any games while it was up this stint.

Neil Wagner was removed from the 40 man roster by the Athletics and the San Diego Padres claimed him off waivers. Neil is now in Triple A for the Padres in Tucson.
