They should have never transitioned to D1. That's what they suckered themselves into.
Re: UND Post-Game Thoughts/Discussion
Coach Entz does a great job at post game pressers. He has control of the facts and is honest and direct with his answers. Makes me as a fan have confidence in his abilities as a coach seeing how sharp he comes off in front of the camera.

Some thoughts:
So happy with our S/C program compared to hawkers. Example: JJ - they let him balloon to over 250 last year.
Saw mostly hockey jerseys and not one football one.
UND team is full of transfers and it shows. Little fire and no togetherness.
Danny the new OC gets his plays from the sand lot.
UND defense is slow to the edges.
If they lose to SHSU there'll be 10 new real estate listings in GF.

As true freshmen.....
Trey Lance 6-foot-3, 215 lbs
Easton Stick 6-foot-2, 200 lbs
Carson Wentz 6-foot-5, 205 lbs
Brock Jensen 6-foot-3, 216 lbs
The fact Lance came in bigger than both Stick and Wentz is important when you're talking about taking hits, especially at a young age. But the thing that separates Lance even more is his speed and quickness. That's a big reason why the staff is entrusting him more as a rushing weapon. This is a strong kid with great rushing ability. It'd be foolish to neuter what makes him special.
Coach ertz seemed to confirm the desire for him to show the threat to run
But the way he usually gets the ball out very quickly, tells me the scheme or the receivers were not getting separation needed for trey to release it.
Hopefully showing basic offense thru non conf schedule.

Only if the winning team is the fan favorite of the guy telling the story of it.
Re: UND Post-Game Thoughts/Discussion
How cool is it that Trey says the sacks he took were on him and not his O line? Not only is he physically impressive, he's already smooth in the post game presser!
Re: UND Post-Game Thoughts/Discussion
Kode Johnson will play the whole year, book it. Entz is on record multiple times saying he differs from Coach K in that he believes if younger classman can contribute they should play. That and the new 4 game rule allows for a player to "red shirt" any year if they are injured and don't get in more the 4 games.
