To date, Colgate has faced these offenses: 92 Holy Cross, 107 Cornell, 112 New Hampshire, 114 Fordham, 116 Lehigh, 117 William & Mary, 119 Georgetown, 120 Lafayette and 123 Bucknell. Granted, Colgate has done all they can to impress with a 3 ppg defense, but their opponents on the whole are only scoring 16 ppg on the season. Another factor to consider is the opponents have a won loss of 27-61 with only Georgetown having a .500 or better record.
Colgate is 2-0 vs CAA so they are winning the tougher games. However, looking at averages, they scored 10 pts on UNH (17.5 ppg) and 23 on W&M (28.2).
Colgate needs a good showing vs Army to answer the skeptics. It should be noted that Army is 8-2 and gave a good P5 team all they wanted earlier in the season. If Colgate should win this game I would seed them higher than 8. If they get blown out they may drop out of top 8 IMO.
