2018 Preseason Polls

The Team is picked to win the Summit this year according to the coaches.

NDSU received five of the six first place votes for a total of 25 points. Western Illinois was second with 20 points, while South Dakota was third with 17 points and the remaining first place vote. South Dakota State (14), Omaha (9) and Fort Wayne (5) round out the poll.

North Dakota State received votes toward the preseason 2018 USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Coaches Poll released Jan. 30. Seven opponents on the NDSU schedule are ranked in the top 25, while two others received votes. The Bison are scheduled to open the season at UNLV Sportco Kick Off Classic on Feb. 9-11 in Las Vegas.
