Question about interlocking ND logo

We all know North Dakota and Notre Dame have similar logos. North Dakota is moving away from it but the rights to use it are an interesting legal issue. According to this legal blog:

So my ask is if someone in the FM area can check the Fargo and Moorhead Scheels to see if it's true you can get a Notre Dame or North Dakota interlocking logo in one but not the other. Even better would be an employee involved in branding that can give a definitive answer.
