No idea but when you're getting your salary more than doubled I don't think it matters where you're going. I think it's a minor miracle that Klieman's staff has stayed intact for as long as it has. No losses the 1st three years until two last offseason. I guess that's a credit to the chemistry they've built with each other.

Don’t other schools typically contact the Coach’s Athletic Director if an offer is made?
Haha! One thing is clear: Mick Garry doesn't know how the "hiring a coach in DI" process works yet.

Yep, that made me laugh out loud when I read it. He is a big time talent and SD is not used to reporting on that...

My sources tell me South Dakota head coach Bob Nielson has not been offered the @KentStFootball job. Things should heat up this week.

The same Kent State beat writer wrote about this possibility,
a Gopher assistant coach, Ed Warinner.

Quote:
Warinner just wrapped up his first season as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at the University of Minnesota, which finished 5-7 under first-year head coach P.J. Fleck. He spent the previous five seasons as an assistant at Ohio State under Urban Meyer.
Warinner was the Buckeyes’ co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach during his first three seasons, then served as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 2015 before spending his final year in Columbus as the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach. Ohio State’s offenses were among the best in the nation throughout Warinner’s tenure.

Offered is the key word there. Offered as in formal contract? Offered vs met with? Offered vs hand shake?
