For sure tailgating and all the festivities drives game gate attendance. It becomes a bigger attraction with a full day of events for travelers and locals alike. It would be interesting to see what renovations to make the Dome hold 23K-25K would do to attendance. I think it would generate a lot of walk up traffic on game day. A lot of fans would come if they didn't have to commit so far in advance with all that's going on in this world today. And, continue to win always helps.

The warm weather early season crowd just wants to be there and have a ticket for every game and quite often don't use their tickets . It's kind of the trendy thing and we could sell a ton of them.
The late season playoff crowd are your hardcore fans who have 6 days to prepare and always show and are rowdier.
This week sucks. Our tailgating is very short and it's colder than hell. But these are the fun games I look forward to. Just not the 11 am start

Not sure what you mean Gabe; tailgating is just as long as any other game.

The reality is for any given game at the Fargodome someone probably has a ticket they're willing to part with, if you can find them and meet their price.
TRUE. I run into these people frequently & it amazes me!
A college professor who has a son in the band (& they live in Moorhead) told me last wknd that he hasn't been to a game in years.
I asked, "Why not?" Reply: "You can't get tickets." (The education process began.) I honestly hear this alot.
Re: Ticket Alert: Wofford game tickets available
We aren't even going to bother tailgating this weekend. It's not really worth the work when it's just a handful of us out there for most of the time. Probably start at my house and head some place for breakfast beers.
Re: Ticket Alert: Wofford game tickets available
I think the biggest part of it is how much prices have creeped up. $40/ticket is getting up there for this level of football and makes it difficult to justify taking the entire family or for casual fans.
I think there's quite a few tickets available still...I can still get a set of 8 sideline tickets. That hasn't happened in years.

I've always felt the playoff tickets were cheap...compared to how much tickets cost per game during the regular season with the Teammaker fee on top.

in the double letters in the corner.
Re: Ticket Alert: Wofford game tickets available
Tickets were available on Gobison.com every day last week. They even had a window open at the dome for purchasing tickets on Saturday.

It means I won't be doing the usual 5-1/2 hours
