Reflecting on the weekend this morning, and that scene on the putting green with the reporter afterward is landing pretty well for me. When asked to put in perspective all the people (his 'team') who helped him get to this point, he couldn't answer the question because he kept getting choked up. He barely got 5 words out and they had to end the interview. Gotta love that passion and sincerity.
I'm just sorry he was not able to enjoy that ovation as he walked up to 18 green yesterday. He really got cheated out of something really special there.

Yeah that really is a bummer. Here’s the video of the “interview” if you can call it that:

A little story about the 2020 Masters Low Amateur Andy Ogletree. Be sure to watch his video diary further down the page.

This could actually have gone to the TIL thread but I'll put it here since it is more topical. Kirk Herbstreit turned down an invitation to play Augusta National. Not once. THREE times!!!
Truth is stranger than fiction.

I gotta say - the pimento cheese sandwich for $1.50 is quite special. But the imported dark beer in the commemorative green plastic cups for $3.50 is one hell of a deal. It's been nine years since I was there and I use those cups every day and they are holding up great!
