NDSU was consistently in the 130's from 2014-2020
So going into 247, tapped on the 170 See All.
Found NDSU at 167.
Showed the number of 5 Stars for NDSU - 0
4 Stars for NDSU - 0
3 Stars for NDSU - 1
One? That doesn’t seem right? Why would Chapo use such a number?
Jailen Duffie is the 3 Star - .8317 rating
https://247sports.com/player/beau-johnson-46132063/
https://247sports.com/player/josh-hendricks-46133945/
https://247sports.com/player/charmar-brown-46134369/
So there are Four 3 Star High School prospects in this NDSU class
so far - According to 247’s own ratings.
So I don’t need to go any further to know the 247 Composite does not work for NDSU. ESPN and Rivals don’t cover all of NDSU’s traditional recruiting footprint. Not even 247 does.
But Chapo, well, like someone wrote the other day “Chapo gonna Chapo”

The only people who see that #171 as their 1st page
ARE ON THE NDSU SITE……
and have hit several tabs to get there, On The NDSU SITE
It took me all of 30 seconds to look at this info.
That is all the time it took to realize the ranking was not accurate for NDSU.
Where did the other ranked players go?
You spend far more time figuring out ways to put NDSU down.
And then posting about it again and again and again.
That is why I had such a laugh reposting your same schtich from 6 weeks ago on the Signing Day Thread.

We've always been in that ballpark range. What i look for are the 0 star tall and lanky guys we can develop. Outside of Beau Johnson, I dont see much. Even his 6-7 height was exaggerated and he's 6-5
This class the tallest player is 6-4 . Instead of putting them on the D-line, we put them at TE or OL. So on my books, this class is weak in the trenches but good at other spots
Fortunately last year was good
Re: 2023 Recruiting Updates
also true Hedbot.
we just should be reaping the benefits of this DYNASTY recruiting wise , 16 NFL PLAYERS!!!! and I feel that we haven't. just an opinion

We all know you are the Todd McShay and Mel Kiper of NDSU recruiting.

Outfitter...it is that and much more. As the parent of a student-athlete who graduated from an academy...comparing them to anything is tough. The lifestyle, the service commitment, the mandated get this done in 4 years and the classes all cadets or midshipman must take as mandatory make it a totally different picture.

Right. And you apparently didnt notice how our D-line chock full of 6-1 guys got manhandled at the LOS this year when we used to be 6-3 to 6-5 across the board. Keep thinking we used to be full of Rudy type players. Nope. We used to dominate the trenches with big tall guys. They would eat up blocks and our undersized fast linebackers had space to operate in. We look like a D2 D-line now. Thats why everyone could run vs us, including Drake
