Packers will be favorite to win the Title this year. Have most of their squad back from last year. Willis is a kid that will probably be around 290-295 this year. Very strong kid that definitely has potential to play at NDSU.
I am guessing Metz is being recruited on defense. He is super quick for his size.

I trust the coaches sign these guys up in the very near future

Re: 2017 Recruiting Updates
We are getting close to really getting that generation of local kids that grew up with massive NDSU success. Success breeds success.
Re: 2017 Recruiting Updates
What about the kid from Carson Wentz's high school. Super athletic kid from Bismark Century. I forgot his name. I'll look it up............Zach Sweep Wow, what a football name for a running back.
http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndFiel...ID=5397326#/L0 State high hurdles champ at a very nice time.
http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/zach...Jg/default.htm Fourth ranked player in the state.
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1722609/zach-sweep I would project him as a possession receiver in our west coast offense. I would expect dynamite in the RAC stat column. Could be Zach Vraa, only bigger, stronger, better RAC. Nah, nobody makes catches like Zach Vraa.
Why wouldn't he be one of the first guys they go after?
And by the way....they won the state championship. Kid might like find he likes winning. We all know where prospects go to win football games and championships.

Uh Oh, Sorry, I thought he was a junior. He signed with the Gophers. How the hell did that happen?

He signed with the MSUM Dragons, not the Gophers.

Willis had an unofficial on March 4th. He's about 290 right now and is dropping since track started. Metz is an absolute beast on the defensive line. Very quick for his size and his motor doesn't stop.
