A couple of watch party groups in the Denver area are thinking of getting together in Greeley for the doubleheader that day. Anybody know if we can find a spot to tailgate for a couple hours?

Just another reason to hate UNC, this is the reply I got from them concerning tailgating for the baseball game next weekend
If you are just looking to do food and pop, you would be fine! However due to our liquor license we cannot allow the public to bring in beer to the parking lot… however if you wanted or catering department to do something in the tailgate area that’s a little more organized, they would be happy to do so. Let me know if that helps. Thank you!
I LOL'd at this review of their ballpark (Jackson Field):

From the article:
They gots real dirt -- effin' awesome!!Quote:
The field is immaculate with lush, green, real grass and real dirt. There are no lights in the ball field so all games are played during the day. There’s nothing better than a Sunday spring afternoon baseball game and the UNC Bears do a fine job at providing a pure baseball-only experience.
Love this quote!
Quote:
Alcoholic beverages are not offered, allowed, or needed at a Bears game.
Looks like they moved the game on Saturday to 11am to start the doubleheader. Kegs and eggs?
Don't worry bri-dog the closest bar is a strip club that opens at 10.
Tailgating will be from 10-11 in the parking lot. Will have some Irish coffee, beer and mimosas and some food. Come on by, see you on Saturday
