Re: A new and better FBS thread
Yeah that’s true for the most part. A vast majority of our recruits come from MN, ND, SD. A few from KS and NE. The Florida kids are far from home anyway so idk about the recruiting. WI would probably still contribute as usual. Illinois and Missouri would be a little further.

Indeed. Hence the Colin Cowherd "Fake ID of College Football" line a few years ago. It infuriated Iowa fans, but it was true.

Another reason to leave FCS??
Central Connecticut State & Sacramento State are Ranked in the Top 25 today.
Bahaha. NDSU could cut thier team in half & beat those 2

Those are two very different programs in terms of ceiling. If Sac St beats Montana this Saturday they might prove to be the best FCS team in the country not named NDSU right now. NDSU would need to be on point to beat them.... they gave now #17 Arizona St a good game in week 1. Of course maybe their win over Montana St was fool's gold and they'll be exposed by the Griz this Saturday. We'll see.
Re: A new and better FBS thread
That’s JMU angle and it doesn’t work for them either.
Re: A new and better FBS thread
I'd rather be indy then in the MAC or MWC.

Might be hard to get anyone to come to Fargo.

Washington St.

Ole Miss
UTEP
Also in 2020 they have the following:
UCLA
UAB
Akron
New Mexico
UTEP
Texas State
Hawaii
Fresno State
Lousiana
UMass
Texas Souther
Florida
I'd say that they are DEFINITELY winning the battle of best schedule over NDSU (even if you could two liberty games in one year)
Re: A new and better FBS thread
UCONN is going indy next year I think, it will be interesting to see how that works for them long term. Their schedule next year sounds like it could be a disaster. At least Liberty and New Mexico State might not have to play each other twice a season going forward.
