According to Izzo: Source tells me that Tim Polasek will be the next North Dakota State football coach.
There's a team meeting scheduled for today and Polasek to be introduced tomorrow.

Now we sit back and see which coaches he retains, if Tyler sticks around, and if the supposed mass exodus of players entering the portal actually happens.

I think there's a chance Tyler stays on staff for next season. I only say this because Tyler mentioned Polasek being his mentor in a podcast someone posted a few days ago. I would guess there will be some changes to the defensive staff.
All of Polasek's experience is on the offensive side of the ball, so I'll be curious what he's going to do to address the defense and special teams.

It sounds like Tyler is staying (at least for near future) so this really is about as safe/little change of a situation as you could get. If players portal, they probably were going to already.
