You’ve got an East Coast trip to Northeastern University in Boston. Time and date to be announced later.

Iowa State playing at the SHAC on Nov 22nd
Credit where credit is due, good job Richman and Larsen. I've been critical of scheduling and will gladly admit they are killing it for this upcoming season.

Road game at New Hampshire on December 1st. https://unhwildcats.com/news/2019/7/...px?path=wbball
Home game against Wisconsin Dec 8th
Official schedule was released yesterday. Some very nice home games and challenging road games outside of conference. I have only made 1 WBB in last two years. Will try and get down for a few more this year. This team is on the rise.
How on earth did they get this schedule? I am really impressed.
Maybe not the best thread to put this, but ...
NDSU Women against Valparaiso. Lost 66-54, but was behind by only three after the 3rd quarter.
This, while having 22 turnovers versus 8 by Valp., only 1 steal versus 9 by Valp., and going 0-for-14 on 3-pointers. ;)
In other words in those three categories, NDSU did poorly, yet they were still in the game (competitive) entering the 4th quarter.
Looks like there is reason to be optimistic. New coach is doing something right. Based on the stats above, one would think this game a blowout but it wasn't.
When (if?) the women improve in those areas, some of the Ls will probably start turning into Ws.:fight:
Heaven help us..... Heaven will be a star next year with the other transfer and cobbs. next year will be a big jump.
Anyone seen or heard anything about Jacobson at Moorhead State?
Iowa State 86 NDSU 58
Overall I think Iowa State was probably the best team I have seen NDSU play against.
Actually there was some display of an organized offense by NDSU. Turn overs were way down, IOWA state scored from the free throw line at will.
# 23 Olivia Skibiel 3 point shooting, as do all the team needs work on defense.
I think NDSU showed some improvement tonight.
good to see more than one person shooting all the time... assists were a little better... expected a 30 pt loss no surprise
Good to hear the positive reports from last night.
Wyoming coming in tonight to the SHAC. Lets go Ladies and win at home. Coach Jory coach them up and get the win.
Have we got anyone we can get help from that is on the red shirt list? I suppose NCAA BB doesn't have this option like football does?
Heaven and Marie are both sitting out do to transfer rules. It appears Heaven will help tremendously next year, I am not sure about Marie Olson. But that is next year. Only 6 turnovers last night and only 8 fouls, those are solid and should indicate better ball control and moving feet on defense. That is very promising. But we did give up 40 points in the paint to our 26. So maybe the lack of fouls was because they just drove to the basket and we were in poor position to defend. Got out rebounded by 14 which is not good but only have up 7 offensive rebounds. Those did lead to 9 second chance points though. Three point shooting at 35% is ok. but overall FG % was only 38%. That is not good. Need to be closer to 50%. I did not watch the game, just taking this off of stats for the game. I would say we have not had a 6 turnover game and only 8 fouls in a game for a long time. TO are generally 15-20 and fouls are in the mid teens. As with the mens program we need to find a way to avoid a couple of 3 minute or longer scoring droughts. Those are just killer. Over all I think the early tough schedule will start to payoff at some point. The ladies will find a way to close out end of quarters and halves and end of games for wins. You have to play hard all 40 minutes with no letups. Go Bison
We scored very little in the 2nd half.
Roughly with 2:55 left in the third period until 4:10 left in the 4th quarter we scored 2 points. 2 points Did I say 2 points. 9 minutes of basketball and we scored 2 points. Not sure I mentioned we scored 2 points in 9 minutes of play. :banghead::sigpalm::facepalm::eek:
soft team... 23 rebounds... goodness
anyway killer games coming.... 0-5 northeastern 0-6 Bison then 2-4 UNH id have to think dare I say.... winable?
No pressure but they need to win a couple of these next 3 games or so before conference starts...

Ain't gonna lie I like that they are trying to create some interest in a program they know was driven into the ground.
