It would be awesome to have a thread we can click for any bison podcasts like Bison 1660 or Kolpack and Izzo... so many get posted in long threads so something like the You Tube thread would be awesome

My question is does anyone know if Kolpack and Izzo have an RSS feed or other easy way to link their podcasts to a podcasting ap to pull them easily? I have zero problems pulling up PA on KFAN and the Bison Report guys, but can't find their podcasts in any sort of modern way.

Can we make sure this stuff still gets posted in the correct threads? I'm not going to follow this thread very closely..

The idea was brought up by another poster thst it would be cool to post them in both spots. It'll be nice when your driving and you don't need to search the 1 million view Wentz thread for an interview with coach k from CBS sports radio or Dan Patrick

Bump....any answers to this? I was working on Saturday AM, and was hoping to catch up this AM when I had a little office time. I cannot find it posted anywhere, and I am not aware of any type of RSS feed, etc. You young guys need to tell me what I am doing wrong.

I tweeted Dom about it, and he said it had not been posted. Sounded like they are transitioning producers and it will be better next week. With that said, transition or no transition, why it is not posted yet baffles me. Plus, still no RSS feed for a modern podcast service. I don't want to be too harsh, but what kind of Mickey Mouse ship is WDAY running? Honestly, it really makes me wonder if they understand just how popular Dom and Kolpack are, and in a modern media market, are the guys they should be hitching the cash trailer.

Would think if wday tagged the fact that Dom and Kolpack are "the Local Wentz guys" they could be drawing a ton right now.

Reminds me of a Saturday show around last August when they were discussing the qb controversy at Ohio state.

Jeff and Dom discussed how pretty much ANY team in the FBS would take either one of those guys (Cardale or Braxton) over their starter. Then chuckled and mentioned that NDSU is set, but almost ANY other team!

Not insulting you at all. I also don't have a feed for WDAY. What I was saying is don't assume the technology isnt there for them to have a feed. They just aren't using the technology correctly or at all in this case.

Mr. Kapel,

I love the quality programming that WDAY radio provides. However, like many who grew up in ND, I cannot listen to the radio feed, so like to stream/podcast many of your shows, particularly Kolpack and Izzo on Saturday mornings. I know of many people even in Fargo and ND who do the same when they cannot listen live.

With that said, I have been unable to find any XML feeds for your shows to allow them to be easy to podcast in modern podcasting apps for Android and I Phone. This is very unusual in the Kolpack and Izzo marketplace. For example:

You can do this with any KFAN show out of the Twin Cities. (I follow PA's show.)
You can do this for Steve Hallstrom's Sports Saturday show, a direct competitor to Kolpack and Izzo.
You can do this with Bison Report Radio, run by Ryan Burns from Scout.com. (Granted, this is not a radio show; but a podast only; but the others are all podcasts.)

I am of the opinion and you can further broaden the reach of your shows by providing XML feeds. I feel this is critical when you consider the shift to smart phone and away from computers. Yes, I can still down load through a web browser from your site on my phone, but that is not very convenient, and they are often hard to find the page links. I am hoping you will consider modernizing how your podcasts are distributed.

No Hallstrom and Izzo/Kolpack have great content. KFGO is just bitter we dropped them and wont cover NDSU athletics. Their ratings will start to fall which is fine by me. I don't support non ND owned stations
