UND post-game thoughts.

1) We should have put up 50 on these guys.
2) 61 yards of total offense. Great job by the Defense.
3) The running game still isn't there. Take away a few big runs by King and it's even worse. I said it last week and I'll say it again: the 4 back rotation is not working.
4) Can we hit a wheel route td in every game? I hope so.
5) Thoughts and prayers for the injured UND player. That looked bad.
6) Special teams would have lost us the game against a team that wasn't so ungodly terrible. Something has to change there and fast.
7) How bad is Wyoming? USD beat Drake 52-0 today and they hung with UND.
8) I like the production out of our WR's. It was a nice coming out party for Shepherd. But where the hell are our tight ends?
9) I'm glad this is over. The game never should have been played and I hope it isn't again for a long time. The media can bitch and moan all they want but the fans don't want this. The state doesn't need it. It's over.
10) Bring on the bunnies.

That was an ugly second half. I'm not worried about the run game. UND has a stoudt run defense. That's also about all they have. The jacks passing game worries me. Will need to get some pressure on Lujan or whatever his name is lol

I can't really take much away from this game. The front seven getting after the qb was a welcomed change but it's UND.

We better come to play 4 full quarters or we will lose the rock in two weeks.

Glad its over, will always take a win. If the ST don't get figured out SDSU is good enough to beat us. Bubba and Bohl have a long ways to go.

Last year when they played that Black Cat offense or whatever I thought their backup RB was more violent than Zac Zenner. He is their main RB now.

It will be interesting to see how it shapes up. I just hope we have the running back situation worked out. We aren't going to beat them running for 100 yards or whatever it was today.

Und only had four rushing yards the whole game. Couldn't win so they tried to steal the term Zenner. Waste of a game in my opinion.

Oh yeah, and now all the peolpe who were jerks all week about how the Bison are going down will just turn their dial to, we only care about hockey.

I really would have rather played an FBS team. Any FBS team.

I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what Mike from Sioux Falls has to gripe about on the rewind show.

The sloppy play needs to get cleaned up or we will lose to SDSU. Turnovers, penalties, etc are a big problem and need to be fixed immediately.

The Bison completely let off the gas in the second half. I wanted to see some throat stomping, but have to settle for that on the defensive side. un_ had a suspect offense and the Bison defense took care of any notion un_ could hang.

To think un_ wanted this game. They should be counting their blessings it didn't happen two years ago. It would have been 10 times worse. The way it is now, they should buy out of the next game. It should be downright embarrassing how far apart these programs are for them.

It was sure nice to see the deep ball turn into six today after having it narrowly miss in the last two games.

What will the moral victory drivel be from the Liouxsers and the apologetic media after that embarrassment? I'm guessing the drums will be beating to "hey, look, only 115 yards rushing and we covered the spread!" A solid effort for having 9 in the box and run blitzing every down I suppose, so go ahead and hang your hat there.

The worst part for me was when they were singing the praises of a UND pass that went for one yard. One freaking yard. One fourth of a Zenner.

But then again the media is the one who pushed the narrative of this game having to happen. Then they tried to twist them beating a helpless Wyoming team as proof that they could beat NDSU as well. Then when it was 3-3 they could hardly withhold their excitement. I was really glad when we put it away in the 2nd, just for that.

The media is going to do the apologist routine now. And once the dust settles they will start hammering for another game. I just hope Dom Izzo (who is damn good at his job) learned his lesson from this one. UNI is our real bad-blood rivalry now.

I only recall one reception by TE's today and only 2 targets, Bonnett with a catch and a dropped TD is all I recall.

Sadly, I got nothing.

Well it was a great tailgate, old timers got to reminisce about days gone by and that was perhaps the most boring second half ever. Now on to the real games in the Valley.

SDSU and UNI right out of the gate, those will be 4th quarter games. Need to clean up special teams but with #11 behind center I have a ton of confidence in where we are going. Defense is also getting back to their aggressive old selves. The Rabbit game will be the true test of just where that group is.

the next 2 games are very critical! must go 1-1 worst case senario

My post game thoughts are focused on the Worm. Is it still turning? Do we have rotational speed? Did it drown in a bottle of bad tequila?

UND had a total of one Zenner rushing and 57 yards passing---fire Entz.

Special Teams was the weak link today.

Very glad this shitty is done with. Lets win the valley

He dropped a screen pass too, but that was maybe on purpose because it was going for negative yards if he caught it.

That was fun...I'd let N_rth Dak_ta be our non-conference cupcake every year.

I'd still like to see a FBS every year, along with one other quality FCS team at the dome.

The dome was electric and if you disagree, well, I'm sorry you feel that way.

However, I agree the second half was boring, but it was pretty much over.

The open video that they played which said, "North Dakota...is Bison Nation" was fantastic buy the way.

The good news for und is that they won't see a defense that good in the Big Sky. But the bad news is their offense is bad...really bad. In the past we referred to them as UN_ for their lack of defense. So I say now because of their lack of offense against us, they shall be known as N_rth Dak_to.

Their offense made our defense look really good.

I honestly think it is somewhere in between. Our defense is young, getting reps, and learning. They are becoming a force. un_'s offense is predicated on Santiago and the home run ball. Not a good matchup for them. I also thought our offense let their defense off the hook too much. King and Chase could have been pounding the ball up the middle and we went with a Dunn and Anderson package of inside runs when they could be tearing up the edge. Minor complaints because I think the game plan, especially in the second half, was to eat up time and not necessarily much of an emphasis on scoring.

I forgot to add my thoughts about their pass defense. Shouldn't their pass defense be awesome with as much work they get? I can see why their run defense looks good on paper because there is no reason to run against them. You can pass all day long.
