2011 Gopher Game... Let the Planning Begin
Time to start making sure everybody is ready for the Gopher game next year.
Stay here!
http://www.daysinn.com/DaysInn/contr...opertyId=08225
Good location next to the stadium. You can tailgate in their parking lot and I know of at least 4 tailgating groups with rigs staying here. Also heard you can "buy" extra spots for people not staying there to come tailgate for $20.
Already excited...

I am in......hope the rest of the horny bison crew is in........TAB, PL, Bisonfan1, Tatanka, others? Need to contact the owner of the Battlewagon to see if there is room to join them in Fargo or if I should drive direct from Sioux Falls.
Oh yeah, I see another epic trip and Bisonville thread. :D

Have you discussed your planned endeavor with Lakes? I am sure he already began that process when he went to the Vikes v. Bears game. After all, he is the master multi-tasker*
*I can already anticipate what some of you are thinking.

They won't release it for a while. But since it's the goophers and it will probably be on the Big Tweleve Network it'll probably be an 11 o'clock start. I hate those.

Re: 2011 Gopher Game... Let the Planning Begin
I have had rooms booked since late September at a few different hotels. I suppose tickets will start popping up in March-April. Going to be a fun time!

10K isn't a stretch, but . . . $10K might be too much for the average ruub to pay.:D

Re: 2011 Gopher Game... Let the Planning Begin
if there isnt 20,000+ NDSU fans at this game, then ILL BE PISSED!!
Section 146-147, Endzone, its bleachers and its the first entrance and crawling distance to said bars. We should try and take that all over.

Re: 2011 Gopher Game... Let the Planning Begin

TSCF will be in along with a bunch of TAB's stupid college friends. Those last two games were college runions for us. First time, we had a keg in the back of the battlewagon.
Now, the most important question is, can we have a keg in the Day's Inn lot?

No, the important question is, how many kegs will be enough? The last time there wasn't enough left for TAB to do an adequate keg stand. :smh: :D That game was also the last time we used the Horny Bison beer bong. After that Das Boot was born.*
*Just a little piece of TOHBTC history.

You are actually mistaken on your history, my son. We had the keg and the bong and the first game, but no keg at the second game as Target Field was under contruction. However, I do remember challenging the good doctor to a challenge that involved said bong after which it was retired.
However, my favorite memory of the second game (other than the obvious; the Goophs getting stomped) was the Farmhouse cowboys who showed up. The Gooph fans were making fun of them until they saw the 3-5 kegs (can't remember the exact number) they brought and finished before an 1100 game. Now that was solid work.

Ahhh, you are correct. My mind kind of mashed the two games against the Gophers together. My bad.*
*A TOHBTC fact...if you want to hear what happened ask TAB...if you want the correct account of events (especially if it was a really good time) ask Thesocalledfan.

Thats the lamest excuse in the world, at least when CAS4127 bails on a game he tells the truth about his MIA status. We never have believed you SD that you were at your daughters wedding instead of the Bison - Gohper game, we tend to believe that you would raise your kids better than to hold their wedding on game day, and if they insisted, the wedding would have been at MPLS outside the dome, and then on into the game. So why were you REALLY not there ???

Ya, SD, wtf? When I got married, I actually checked the FB schedule and set my wedding date for a bye week!!!! I mean, a man has to have some priorities in life! :D
Oh, and I'm in btw!

Re: 2011 Gopher Game... Let the Planning Begin

How do you think this will happen? The stadium only holds like 48k, it is the third game of the season and should have beautiful weather. New coach in town and the Gopher fans will still have some optimism for a good season. In other words, ticket availability will not be as easy as it was for the dome which holds another 20k.
I hope you are right but I find it hard to believe NDSU will have a chance to get 10k simply because of ticket availability.
For what it is worth, I pissed at Punky. I wanted him to stick around one more year so this would have been an easy guaranteed win. Kill will have them coached up.

I can vouch for SDBISON; my son and I were in Papadoc's on Minnesota Ave. in Sioux Falls watching the Bison/Goobers II; the party next to our table were all in either tuxedos or wedding attire. I struck up a conversation with the folks there and SDBISON introduced himself to me. He lamented the fact that he was VERY involved in a wedding ceremony that afternoon.

He was carrying on the lie. SD and his crew always wear a tux.

Re: 2011 Gopher Game... Let the Planning Begin
I will be "negotiating" this trip over the weekend. Got some money to win off of grandpa. he played for the goophs back in the 50s (where any athleticism I have came from) and didn't want to talk after the last bison/gopher game.
