Re: Summit League Transfer Portal
I have to ask this question because I do not want to look up the answer. Outside of the Western Ill players entering the portal mainly do to a coaching change. How much time were these other player logging on their teams. Are any of them main players or players stuck behind a main guy and only getting 5-8 minutes a game? I would assume most of the main players for teams are staying put. Either way the Summit could look a lot different next year and every year after this.

Most didnt play much. Dillon for SDSU looked like he had potential and couldve been a starter down the road.

Yea, don't know what happened there. 1 reply said he was disappointed without any high mid major/power 5 basketball offers so he's going to do 1 year at Kirkwood and hope for a bigger offer.

All these transfers in basketball confirm one thing:

With Jeter coming in, he will attract some talent. I think you'll be surprised by what WIL puts on the court next year.

so far, Jeter has landed commitments from 4 JuCo’s, 2 grad transfers, 2 freshmen, and one sit-out transfer to go along with the 3 returning scholarship players.
they’re sitting at 12 scholarships fulfilled for the upcoming season. gonna watch as many games as i can to see what Jeter is able to do with this squad. should be a fun one!
-
Re: Summit League Transfer Portal
Oh yea Jeter. that's a valid point , he can coach.

Gotta give you and Herd credit: You were pretty spot on with this... I wasn't buying it, but, heck, they've already passed what I expected from them.

Re: Summit League Transfer Portal
Marlon Ruffin - 6’ 5”
Has entered the transfer portal from Omaha.
Averaged a team leading 13.1 ppg. Normally would say he had one season of eligibility left, but with covid rules might have 2. Played one year at a JC, then 2 years for Omaha.

This coming from the person who was complaining that the Summit League needs to be ranked higher. If ORU keeps Max/Obaner isn't that just a indication that the rest of the league needs to improve. Just saying
