This thread reminds me of Soap Operas: One can not look at it for months, come back to it, and, bingo, your caught right up because the storyline doesn’t change.

NDSU would get on Big 10 Big 12 SEC schedules yearly.
If teams are scared to schedule NDSU when they are FCS why would they when they are FBS? The threat of losing will be the same or greater, will they not? And won't a loss to a G5 with a 12 team playoff looming be just as devastating?

Your line of reasoning with Chapo is off base. He wants NDSU to FBS for his own ego and lack self-satisfaction, and so that he can go on FBS boards and be “at their level”, regardless of whether NDSU FB is successful. That really doesn’t matter to him.
Its all about self satisfaction/prestige, and living vicariously through NDSU football/athletics. He knows his own past can’t measure up (or maybe he doesn’t?) and he’s advocating for a future that, perhaps, may. This is about Chapo/Lakes/Sam feeling good/better about himself because of his past/life-history, not his desire for NDSU athletics success.

This has been fact checked for accuracy and found to be 100% accurate. There are valid reasons for moving to FBS and sometimes mentions them, but this is really his only reason. The others are just noise.

Losing the playoff format and replacing it with shitty bowls is the worst part about moving up. G5 needs an NIT style tournament.
