I think Wentz wants something more long term. I don't think he wants to move teams every year and learn a new City and a new offense. For one thing you don't get to grow in the offense if you are only there one year. Wentz would have had a great year if he was able to have a 2nd year in Indy.
Remember his wife is also pregnant so I'm sure he isn't in a big hurry to go somewhere as a backup that has no chance of playing.

I keep checking to see if Wentz has signed with Minnesota. This is crazy at the point, as he is MN's least bad option. No commitment needed, game to game pay, it is literally a no brainer for both parties and Wentz would be looking at a potential starting role if he could get back to what he was (yes, I know this is not likely).

Athletic article today lists seven options including three free agents. Wentz is not among them.

It really is incredible. He fits the same mold as Cousins, it would be his best team since 2017 MVP run was cut short by injury.
