I couldn't agree more with Burgundy, SDBison and others on the recruiting front. If the transition to DI has shown SDSU anything, it is to mirror the Bison in recruiting. Utterly ridiculous. After all, NDSU is in Fargo (a city without rival), has gold plated toilets and reams of velvet for players to wipe their backsides.

Each night before I lay my head down, I pray that we can come up to the level of NDSU in recruiting. Until that unimaginable day happens, I will have to relegate myself to the shallow victory of actually winning on the field with sub-Bison players. But I know it is only a matter of time before tradition and facilities reasserts its preeminence. I am patiently waiting for Army to do the same.

yes, and yes. Welcome to last year ;) Costigan committed awhile ago and Esala just did the other day. We only had a partial to him supposedly.

so why is the "recruiting summary" still show them under the "offer list" and not under the offered and committed elsewhere list?

I did a search for kids who were interested in NDSU on rivals. There are a bunch of kids on there from AZ and Texas and Nebraska. But it seems rivals is doing a good job of adding more kids as the recruiting season progresses. There is a 3 star CB from Texas named Fred Jackson that has an offer from NDSU and Navy. runs a 4.42, would be awesome if he came here. Another thing that I find interesting is that most of the kids that we have interest in, SDSU and UND are on thier list too. Do we share recruiting info with these schools, do they come to our camps. I'm just wondering how we can end up targeting the same kids in places like Arizona and Texas. I understand it around here, but in those states, I just don't get it.
