We've had a great run the the FCS and I love the FCS playoff system, but lets face it, the division is badly watered down. The competition just isn't there anymore.
This years playoff's include the following schools:
St. Francis
Fordham
Gardner-Webb
SE Missouri St.
SE La.
Elon
Furman
Davidson
Holy Cross
William & Mary
Samford
UIW
Seriously? Without looking it up, I have no clue where these institutions are located.
I just don't think we should be playing football against this level of competition any longer. We have nothing left to prove at this point.

Waiting on Wyo/Fresno game to start—have a bit of time yet.
Anyone wanna discuss why MWC isn’t a good fit for us/team/fan base?
Timeslots just do not fit for us. Nor travel.

We are pretty spoiled with our game times if you ask me.
What conference is the most attainable and best fit in your eyes?

Montana in playoffs might be a good game attendance wise then Samford?
Mountain West vs Boise State or Wyoming easily fills the dome to the rafters .
No question the MWC would fill the Fargodome for all games. That conference would literally be the best conference ever for NDSU. I just really hope the administration is telling them we are willing and interested in a full or football only membership. To be honest no other conference is really an option so we better have our best effort out there.
