Yeah, that's probably true. We'll get a rumored mention or whatever. I just hope that when we get passed over, NDSU gets serious about FBS at any cost and by any path. Because I think that's the only way we actually become FBS. I fear, though, that NDSU will simply sigh and say "no reasonable path was made available to us (i.e. MWC or AAC), and so we must be content in FCS. Besides, we're broke."

NDSU to join MWC and IF you allow us to keep our local media deal and in exchange NDSU would only take 50% revenue of MWC TV rights and CFP payouts and 50% of march madness for the 1st 3 years"
NDSU would also agree to 1-2 Neutral Site Football games & 3-4 Basketball games to help offset MWC Travel costs"
NDSU would bring 19,000 fans to every home game & PAY for 2500-5000 away tickets at MWC football stadiums for alums/fanbase bringing additional revenue to each MWC member.
BOOM that's how you negotiate.

Not going FBS, pretty hard to do when you announce cutting programs and sports budgets when we live in a state with Billions in the bank but would rather brag about it than support the Higher Ed and their programs.

Oh, never mind. You do really think that is an attractive offer to someone. Keep all of what you could contribute (even though the reciprocal value isn't there to being with) and then still try to take half of what they would have given you for it anyway.
