Re: 2010: Recruiting Summary
I don't think we will sign another O Lineman. Esala has a reported offer on rivals, but that is a partial offer. We have signed 5 O lineman this class already. Costigan was a longshot after he begged online for the Central Michigan offer, got that and then Wisconsin offered. He had alot of good offers. Looks like a solid player. I am guessing we are done at O line.

Exactly thats NOT concrete, "if" scares me. Hope he can but I will be much more at ease when Bohl says he is on the roster!!

Demler committed to UND months ago. They were his only offer at the time.
Gabriel has an offer from South Dakota, but hasn't mentioned any interest from NDSU to me. He has received recent interest from Northern Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota State, Illinois State, Minnesota State-Mankato, Winona State, Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota-Moorhead and Bemidji State.

Northern Illinois actually offered Costigan. He was extremely interested in CMU, but they never offered him.

One of the top players in the state of Nebraska this past season was Lavant Moore of Omaha Burke. The talented receiver averaged 19 yards per catch and 115 per game and earned first-team all-state (all class) honors by both of the state's major newspapers. Is he getting any looks from the Huskers?
Moore reeled in 54 catches for 1,031 yards over nine games as a senior.
"I'm getting a lot of Division II schools coming in right now," the 6-foot-3, 181-pound Moore said. "UNO has already offered and South Dakota State said they're getting ready to send an offer too. I'm also getting a lot of attention from North Dakota State, Northwest Missouri State, Delaware and a few others."
"As far as major schools like Nebraska, they're still waiting to make sure I have all of my academics in order. With my current (ACT) score, I need to finish my second semester with all 'B's' to qualify…which shouldn't be a problem. I took the ACT over again a couple of weeks ago. I'm hoping I boosted the score even more."
A starter on the gridiron since his sophomore season, Moore hauled in 54 catches for 1,031 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2009. With good height and solid speed (4.6-second 40-yard dash), he established himself as one of the top players in the state.
"I was trying to make it look easy out there," Moore said. "The college coaches all tell me that I have really strong hands - that I catch the ball at it's highest point. They say my route running is good and I time the jump balls really well. They say that as long as I keep bringing my speed down, I could be a real threat at the Division I level."
"I visited Nebraska three times this fall for football games and they said they're very interested. They're just waiting on my grades. When I went to their camp last summer, they told me I was one of the top receivers at their camps and gave me a lot of one on one attention."

Here is his potential competition (if Vraa makes the "wrong" choice)

Looks like he is touting his blocking skills on the tape. I don't think of that first from a wide out, but I guess they block on nearly every play and only make a few catches a game. He is a team mate of Michael Allen who is the running back we have an offer to (according to Rivals).
Looks like he's going to visit "The Hole" (where the bunnies live...in Brookings....) in early January.

Looks decent but it seems like he takes a long time to break down in his cuts...theres a lot of idle chop.
