The champs are back: 2024 Jackrabbits kick off camp ready to 'write their own story'
After consecutive FCS titles, South Dakota State begins the quest for a three-peat
I don't believe the MVFC exists after Patty's retirement at the end of next season.
Here is a link to the revised 2025 & 2026 MVFC conference schedules: https://fbschedules.com/missouri-val...026-schedules/
Anyone know why USD @ NDSU is scheduled for 9/27/25 instead of 11/22/25?
NDSU has a non-conference home game with St Thomas already scheduled for that date: https://gobison.com/sports/football/schedule/2025
Was surprised to see this decision for a starting QB up north.
Always assumed they would start Trey Feeney just because…
Simon Romfo could be the change of pace/style QB and then later on, if Feeney was not working out, the highly regarded RFr QB could take over after watching a while. (Jerry Kaminski)

Will be interesting to see.
Perhaps it is both, but Romfo is now seizing the opportunity.
I believe Romfo came in as a PWO, good recruiting value for them - undersized high school QB with great numbers.
Tommy Schuster could have returned for an extra season, but took to the Transfer Portal instead and went to Michigan State. $$
Feeney left UND and is going into the portal because he didn't win the starting job.

Youngstown trails Villanova by 14 in the 1st half
Illinois St run defense looks stout against Iowa.
Rabbits appear to be able to tackle quite well.
Gronowski had two plays with open receivers but missed them.
Jackrabbits turned it over on downs first possession.
Oklahoma State kicked a fg 3-0 lead
Gronowski threw an interception on a sideline out pass
Cowboy ball
Okie State capitalizes, marching down the field 47 yards
10-0
Gronowski needs to play like Cam Miller if the Jackrabbits are to have a chance.
With OSU’s offense the game will not be a defensive struggle…
1st Jackrabbit cramp of the day!!! :bunnyb::bunnyb::bunnyb:
Right as OSU had a loaded up backfield they were not prepared for
Jacks simply not ready for the 'Big Boys' like we are.
Jackrabbits gonna Jackrabbit - big face mask penalty on Jacks DB, drawing boos from the crowd.
Ollie Gordon busts one in on the very next play from 12 yards out.
17-3 2nd quarter
Huuge possession for Gronowski & Co coming up if
they want to stay in this one
I could tell primetime had been watching film on us eh. Definitely watched the sdsu games.

Jackrabbits AA LB Adam Bock, scores a TD
24-6 3rd quarter
Air Rabbits!
3 straight completions for Gronowski
cuts lead to 24-13
2 passes were to Sophomore WR Griifin Wilde, Sioux Falls product that NDSU had also offered.
Another Jackrabbit cramp!!!
Cowboys were going hurry up on 2nd down…
Despite a 2nd Jackrabbit cramp on that drive,
3rd overall that I have seen, Cowboys connect on a long TD pass, regain more momentum
31-13 Oklahoma State with 6:29 remaining in the 3rd
UND had a 12 minute, 88 yard, 23 play drive against Iowa State and all they got out of it was a field goal. Cyclones up 14-3 at the half.
Some really poor football teams in MVFC in week 1. Cinference is following the trend and beconing watered down too.
