I thought it was the right decision at the time.

Based on his defense it was 100% the choice and 98% the wrong play call.
Next week Kleiman and Company host the Fawkers in Manhattan. Please, Coach, take your frustrations out on the fawkers.

Tough loss for K-State when the QB's dad and brother fight after the game. :sigpalm:

What is going wrong in Manhattan? Klieman can't win the big games against Texas or Iowa State, and now he's almost losing - and frankly should have - to UND.
It starts with their defense. They can't stop anybody. They need to recruit Avery Johnson's Dad and brother to play defense for some attitude.
Klanderman is going to end up like Messingham if they don't fix things fast.
They lack any physicality on offense without Giddens.
They lost at home to Army 24 to 21.
Told you bros.
That seat has to be warming up.
Regarding the K-state performance against the fawkers; just maybe the KSU Wildcats were suffering some jet lag after their excursion and loss to Iowa State (6 or7 hour time deferential). They didn't practice with pads the following Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday after their trip to Ireland. They just looked a bit off-kilter. JMO
He's been anointed the golden child in Manhattan ever since he committed. They encouraged Will Howard to transfer just to clear the way for Avery. His best skill is running and they have reigned him in from doing that.
They can't run the ball and they can't stop the run.
No inside information, but there has been a ton of money thrown at Avery. It almost feels like there may be some issues in the locker room. The lack of defensive physicality is another issue.
All his NDSU transfers graduated… that’s obvs the issue…
Living in Manhattan now, it seems like every K-State fan wanted Avery Johnson. My gut says that he would have committed elsewhere unless he got to start right away, so KSU had to send Will Howard elsewhere and pay Avery a lot of money.
Turns out that decision may cost Klieman his coaching job. And probably should.
Avery makes so many bad throws. So many. It's painful to watch.
I can't belive they're struggling. Still have Hank Jacobs on staff.
Klieman hasn't had a bad season yet, people are way too impatient.
K-State is now 1-3, and probably should be 0-4, after another dud last night.
Defense can't get off the field, o-line has no physicality, and Avery Johnson continues to struggle.
Jet lag is real bros. Someone should have told him he wasn't in Kansas anymore.
