Probably a long shot for both. HCHS has about 900 students so we are not little. We beat DEtroit Country Day in the finals a parochial school with alumni that include Chris Webber and Shane Battier. Their FB program is very good too. We run a spread offense and AJ will run people over too. He set many state passing records with only 4 INT's. He is extremely accurate passer with a 4.0 GPA and a 33 ACT. He benches 350 the strongest kid on the team. Wehave only had FB at HC for 6 years that is why he has surprised so many people and why he is still available. Michigan wants him to walk on because they have verbals from two high recruits. He will be very good. He backed up in HS Kirk Cousins who is the current backup at Michigan State. AJ is even better than Kirk. By the way in the champ. game AJ set several records, all on a foot with a broken bone.Quote:

I love what the Bison staff are producing so far --- now we need some passing offense: 1 or 2 QB, and some people that can catch the ball. A kicker is absolutely needed too.

As good as this class looks, if we don't get a QB and a kicker, it all be for not. I honestly think QB position need to be a minimum 3 deep. I don't even want to think about going through another year with Mertens and Bibeau.

Are you serious? Have you seen the talent that is coming in...plus coming back in Offerman and Reid? yeah, I get it....remember...we are 6 weeks from signing day. Just because we haven't verballed a QB (or heard of a transfer.....oops....)....relax. Appreciate what has gone on so far in this fun recruiting time of the year. Enough negative energy about the kicker and QB. We have went over that enough. We know we need more depth, there will be QB's in this class. Obarski was signed as a punter last year. I know he kicked in HS, but not good enough at this level. Sorry for venting. Last season is over. We all want the best QB in the nation....ha.

its funny- i talked with one of the kids who committed to ndsu- he visited both- they both knew each other was after him- the NDSU coaches and players didn't say a word about the other-talked about what they had to offer and why they wanted him to be part of the team and where he would fit. the sue player hosts and coaches brought NDSU up all the time- talking bad about the Bison and trashing NDSU...then they spent more time touring the engelstad and took him to a hockey game. Just shows- tradition and class win all the time.Quote:

Yeah, Bibeau isn't great but not many kickers are at the FCS level. I'm sure if Bohl finds a gem he'll offer some scholarship money but a kicker is definitely not going to make or break this class.Quote:
