Only you can prevent forest fires bro!

“Anyone predicting a blowout on Saturday can’t see the forest for the trees.”
…that work?
What’s your O/U for “close at halftime”…? (Spoiler alert, there’s a bet proposal coming your way)…

I don't see any bet I'm willing to take on this. We should crush them. Should. But...they played USD real close. I could easily imagine another 17-10 first half, or even a 10-17 first half. With the general feeling on here I just think the players have to feel somewhat the same way and not be game ready.

Since we are using tree idioms, I will go out on a limb and we say we cover the spread by halftime.

The spread is 34.5…
I’m taking the over on spread for the game, for sure, but halftime? Oof… less certain of that.
20 pt halftime lead is my o/u and I would bet someone the over vs their under there but TAB is too chickenshit, just like he refuses to play me in pickleball…

He might be barking up the wrong tree, but he did say he was going out on a limb which leaves me to believe he thinks it's not likely.
Did I get enough tree puns in there?

How about you make like a tree and get out of here.

One of my all-time fav sayings along with "Are you outta my mind?"

I agree, nothing stumps me about this game. The trees will be completely run thru the chipper before this game is over!
Re: Game 7: Indiana State Sycamores
To branch off of what everyone else is saying, the root of the problem is that the trees just aren't that good and it's time NDSU leaves the FCS and transplant to an FBS conference.
