ACHA D1 club team just like NDSU.

So I understand UJ is getting a new basketball arena and added hockey this fall. Must have some rich alumni.

The bball arena from what I've seen will cost about 14 million and I believe they got somewhere between 4&6 million from the Newman's. I remember reading an article that said the total would be private, but my boss is good friends with a family member and knew the amount I just can't remember what it was now.

They got accepted. Coaches I know do not like this one bit. Of course they didn't have a say in it. The closest school is 240 miles away. Good luck with recruiting.

Quite a damning article you attached. The only conference transaction worse than UJ/GPAC is UND/Big Sky. Can see why coaches/athletes would be upset. Will be interesting to see how the remaining North Star schools treat UJ going forward.

I know from a very good source whom I won't expose is they will not get treated kindly.
