UCA, North Alabama, & Austin Peay are not candidates to join Conferences USA. Period. Again, Matt Brown, who has allegiances to the Sun Belt, has gone out of his way to spread misinformation about C-USA in order to drag the league through the mud to bolster the Sun Belt, whose fans are a vast contributor to the financing of ExtraPoints.
As far as Tarleton, they needed a waiver to expedite their transitions. They are still a good candidate, but not one that could occur before 2026. SFA has very competitive sports but financing massive upgrades is an issue, which is why they are looking at moving to a state system.
