Too lazy to look it up.
This has to be the tightest Sagarin "numbers" of all our games in Frisco or was the game last year as close? My memory says Towson was the widest margin.

Anybody remember what the lines were for our playoff games this season? Trying to see if we've been performing above, below or even par this year.
"Yeah SD !!!!!!!!!!!".................."btw, don't my massive jugs look terrific in this sweater dress?"

So nothings changed
I know the final rankings won't come out until tonight's game is over. Our most recent ranking was 51. Any thoughts on where we finish the year? Do we break in to the 30s or stay in the 40s?
SWAG:
So we were favored by 4.5 and won by 27. That's a 22.5 point difference. Attribute half to NDSU, that's 11.25. But it is one of 15 data points so divide and the estimated impact is around 0.75 Sagarin points. A guess at NDSU's new rating could be something like 75.26 which would be good for 47th on the last ratings issued.
I say we fall somewhere around 36.
Seriously, it just came out. 36.
21. Houston
35. Western Kentucky
Those are the two G5 schools ahead of NDSU. ISUr is the next FCS team at 76.
Today we would be just short of 8 point underdogs to Iowa in Kinnick Stadium.
You nailed it!!! #36 http://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/sagarin/
Observations with NDSU's #36 finish:
Minnesota was 64.
Iowa 22
Iowa St 67
Nebraska 42
Wyoming 154 (OMG!)
F'ing Hawks 141
Montana 111
Montana St 143
SDSU 89
SD 144
Wisconsin 19
UNI 79 (dead heat finish with Illinois St for #2 FCS)
So, of all the regional D1 schools, NDSU is #3. I am okay with that, even though I am not sure the national media gets it, yet, however I am seeing "chinks in the armor." I've heard national conversations if NDSU should move up (Patrick yesterday), and national pundits pointing out NDSU is playing FBS talent in FCS. We are getting there; just need to keep dominating.
Love it. What a time to be a Bison. The future is bright, particularly with Kill retiring at MN.
Just noticed no traditional #25 votes in the AP poll for the FCS champ.
Since '11 our end of season sagarin ratings:
2011 - 37
2012 - 35
2013 - 17
2014 - 32
2015 - 36
Not bad Bison Nation
I went to the Sagarin site before coming here this morning. When I saw #36, I did a spit take...just wasn't expecting that kind of movement. Really an impressive finish for this team...so much development along the way. Started as a rebuilding year and finished as another dominant Bison championship team. We are along for the fan ride of a lifetime.
I agree but its fun to see where ndsu stacks up. Looking at the final rankings I think ndsu could beat anybody from around the 15-20 range on. Which is amazing considering where we were in 2009.
