Some think that it’s the B12 trying to cut off the P12. They certainly hold the leverage over the P12. Others think it’s the B12 still trying to merge with the P12. I would guess it’s the first option.

Don’t want to be left without a network TV deal…

Man this is a mess. If the B1G and SEC attempt to get to 20 apiece (2 10 team divisions - who knows if that's true or what will happen)...some of these schools will be left in the dark from all major conferences. This is going to be a wild follow the next couple years.

TV money/conference realignment, NIL, pay for play...it's a complete wild west right now. Part of me wants some oversight structure to develop to produce a little stability (but not before we ride the instability into the Mountain West ;) )

Most people here didn't realize Sam Houston was FCS and almost none know they're transferring to FBS.
