Why would anyone (Mcfeely, in particular) expect the POTU to say anything different from what the AD is/has been saying?

It’s just common sense, folks. They are waiting to see how the FBS landscape settles, if/where there is a split, etc. I doubt NDSU can afford all sports in a good FBS conference yet, so they are surely also continuing to raise $$

I get the impatience. I get the annoyance of having to be in the same FB conference as the hockey school, but you have to take the long view here. I would also be shocked if they aren’t actively engaged in conversations with what they see as desirable FBS conferences. Look at history. They always deny it at the time

Truth. I also think they are being very hush hush about any of this in an effort to not look foolish and/or save face if things don't pan out. Not saying I agree they have to be that concerned but I've been getting that feeling lately. Nothing will be said about the desire to go FBS until we find out a conference is coming on a site visit, imo.

it's time to start kicking down some fucking doors, enough! GO Public with your desire to be FBS and that you actively openly are looking for an invite.

what are they afraid of? making the MVFC mad or FCS? NDSU has literally subsidized these 2 and their programs. WE don't owe them anything at this point, they are nothing without NDSU

whats the worse case scenario in taking this approach? zero, the FCS and MVFC literally had programs QUIT 2 years ago.
