Only possibility I can think of is the St. Cloud State game - they made a little too much noise after squeaking out a win against NDSU the year before and suffered mightily for it (62-3.) BTW, the defense started slow that year too.
I'm betting Morlock's left ankle is sore today. He got it rolled into on the very first offensive play and was noticeably limping the entire game. It seemed to get worse as it went along.
