The non Teammaker season ticket push usually starts around July 1st. That is when any major movement is the count is going to happen. The complete schedule would help also.
today: 7710
2290 to go LETS GET IT DONE
7760 today
2240 to go!!
7,780 now.
Inching ever so slowly.
Thread drift.........can we get back on topic please?
Whats the count?
Because if we are 0-11 attendance will bet 17000 per game instead of 14,000 per game.
If season ticket holders dont show up they still count. and NDSU still gets paid.
Think of it as insurance. Also people with season tickets care alot more about the program. Im not saying people who buy single game tickets dont care, some are probably raving lunatic bison fans, but most people who are crazy bison fans would just buy season tickets have a guranteed seat every weekend. If season tickets were not a benefit to the school they would not exist.
Now when we play Indiana state when the bison are 2-8 and Indiana is 1-9(or even if we are 9-1 and they are 0-10 the attendance is still crappier), the attendance will be 12003 instead of 12006. If everyone thinks the way you do then attendance is 9001 instead of 12006, or whatever....
Right now we know the worst attendance possible to a bison football game is 7780. Assuming not a soul shows up.
I agree that season tickets are the best way to go, I have season tickets but i dont agree with saying a single game ticket purchaser etc... are less of a fan than I. Some people opt to by single game tickets because of their work/family schedule. and don't feel it necessary to "insure" their tickets by purchasing the season ticket package.
I for one will buy season tickets no matter what because A- support the program B- have selectability in my seats, and keep the same seats every game C- guarantee I have seats EVERY GAME;)
Per someone important,
10000 is the goal because coupled with 4000 student tix and 1500-2000 day of game walkups, game can be called a success from a seat standpoint.
I think it is a lofty goal, getting 50% of your attendance there even before the team plays is a pretty good accomplishment.
No offense here, but you clearly are an awesome fan. Haven't missed a game since 1994. With that being said, you really should join teammakers. Help out the student athletes, get locked in season tickets, meet the people you sit around on a weekly basis. It is a blast and going to a great cause. I just don't understand going non stop but not joining the group that funds their success. Putting a quality product on the field starts with the financial support from Teammakers. You can join for pennies and get your season tickets. If you can't go to a game, give them to a friend or charity. I hate that excuse. Again, just my opinion, I am glad you are such a great fan.
I appreciate the offer and you're right I should if I had the money. I honestly don't have the money for it. Married, 3 kids, not having a full time job after school for 10 years after graduation, and it all adds up:)
Although to be honest the last 5 years I have been part of the ND HS Coaches Association so I pay my dues and my ticket is free. My dad does the same thing and then I can get how many ever tickets I need for each game through that. So then in essence I have season tickets that I can count on and I can sit with my family even if they can't make it to every game. The great thing though is bringing my 5 year old to the game and he hasn't missed a home game since he was 12 months old:)
Sounds awesome. Glad the family is involved. You can't beat those memories.
I think you bolded the wrong part lol.Quote:

it is now 7822
well, you have to pay the $250/$500 seat teammaker dues though.
my circle of friends go tailgate, and buy a ticket, but wouldn't buy season tickets because instead of paying $100 for 5 games, they would have to pay the $250 teammaker seat. Im sure there are more people in that boat.
Count me in. Just purchased my 2.
Lakes, hope your friends enjoy the cheap ticket. Thank god there are more of us that pay for the seat (I pay $500) to help offset the $2,000,000.00 that Teammakers pays yearly to the Athletic Department for the scholarships.

7822! Man, I every time I watch that highlight reel I just shiver at how much potential this team has. Some of those Mohler passes were things of beauty!
