The MVFC should make a move up someday soon. Either that, or the ncaa redesigns the whole thing.
The MVFC footprint is the only one that makes sense for NDSU and its fans...and the beauty of the Frisco game and playoffs can't be denied.
I'd welcome a move to the Big 12...but the likelihood of that happening is probably zero to none...

The nice thing about the playoffs is that it gives NDSU fans the chance to watch up to three games at home. In regards to the Big 12, I would be ecstatic. Not sure those teams want to deal with a team that plays defense though.

North Alabama Lions - renewing their rivalry
with the Alabama A & M Bulldogs today - a game that had been
discontinued after A & M moved up to 1AA while NA remained in D2, until NA’s current transition to FCS.

Today’s North Alabama game notes:

Includes this nugget:

"Going into the season, on paper, Southern Utah looked like it would be the second toughest team on our schedule," Willis said. "They won nine games last year, made the playoffs and had a large number of starters back. They were a very good football team and for us to go on the road in a game like that and find a way to win to start the year off, that gets things going in a good direction."
No sign of tv - anyone know differently???
Just radio
Schedule -
Southern Utah
Alabama A & M
NDSU
Azusa Pacific
Campbell
West Florida
Mississippi College
Jackson State
Shorter
North Greenville
Incarnate Word
Definitely some W’s on the sched for NA - can see why SUU & NDSU were fun for the Lions to play, it’s not like they were looking at an 0-11 transition season.
Only 5 home games, but Alabama A & M is only 80 miles away.

It will be a good start for them, 10-1 in their transition year.

UNA’s qb suffered some sort of leg injury in the 2nd quarter yesterday.

this game will not be close, SUU good win but we all know how they can be, A&M was a close game, they will not come here and shock the world. No offense to UNA, but at least they have the balls to schedule NDSU as we know more teams are not willing than are

It will benefit them to get a good measure of where their program is at.

Totally agree, and not only that but I’d just like to see our squad against a verified challenge before SDSU. They look like the real deal...
