A Texas kid with a 4.42 40, a 38 inch vertical, 1610 SAT and a 3.78 GPA and we're his only offer. I wonder who he killed? :)

With strengths of anticipation, closing speed and toughness, He may make a good CB and man do we need some of them.
This is how Stig has always done it. Seems to be working pretty well, don't you think?
Your obsession with SDSU athletics and its fans just amazes me. I'm sure you'll have some smart ass reply laced with bunny turds, piss poor fans, what am I (an SDSU fan) doing on bisonville anyway, yada, yada, yada. Can't wait!
Has it been working pretty well? I would argue no, when it comes to recruiting. NDSU still has a more talented team when it comes to recruits, for whatever reason(coaching, pride, leadership) SDSU has been better on the field the last few years. I think most objective viewers would have a hard time saying that SDSU has more talent than NDSU. To not have any verbals this time of year would be concerning to me as a fan. Maybe if recruiting improved, SDSU could become a powerhouse the way NDSU is considered nationally. Obviously we are down now, but you and everyone else knows that a team and a program like NDSU can only be down before so long before we emerge just as strong if not stronger than before. That type of certaintly in a program only comes from great recruiting. SDSU has done well, but most recruits when given the opportunity will come to NDSU over SDSU, history shows us that.
Just because you sign a recruit early it doesn't mean that the recruit is any better than the one you sign in January.
When I've been searching online to find SDSU recruits it seems NDSU has an offer out to every kid in the Midwest. You can't read an article on Wissports.com that doesn't mention a kid having interest from NDSU. I've also ran into recruits like this:

That have alot of schools showing interest and than there's always NDSU who probably offered 3 months ago.
I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just different strategies. NDSU got out and offered a bunch of kids right away. It's a strategy that I think is new to NDSU and not the normal practice in the FCS right now. I think most coaching staffs in the FCS are shorthanded enough that they are focusing more on practice/winning than recruiting. I think Coach Bohl knew that this year was going to be a wash so he jumped on recruiting early to get some recruits before other schools got going. Not a bad strategy, alot of kids site that "they recruited me early" as a strong point to why they chose one school over the other. I think it can also come back to bite at times too as there can be a risk taking kids before they've played their senior seasons.
Wasn't meant the way you took it, I know we would use the playoffs as an advantage but instead of hardcore recruiting it sounds like stig is just hanging out thinking they will come its SDSU! look at some other programs their coaches hit the trail the night after the last game! They don't hang out at home that's all I'm saying
If your post is true than we honestly need to fire our whole staff. I've heard how talented we are a couple handful of times now and I'm trying to figure it out. Talent alone should have beat some of the teams we lost to this year. Not all but some. UNI is a team that has talent and no coaching and just lines up and says "our athletes are better than yours", usually they are and it works. When a team goes 6-5 and than 3-8 there is a lack of talent. I wouldn't be telling a team that made the playoffs we have more talent, cause if we do and our coaching is that bad what do we have to lose by letting them all go? I was at the SDSU game and they had more talent than we had in my opinion.
