They are also building a new driving range and golf academy. Golf at the executive, pitch-and-putt and putting courses is free for residents. Residents
automatically become members of the country clubs and championship courses and there are no dues but there is a fee to golf.

The Rocket Mortgage Classic is currently underway in Motown. For this year it featured a fifteen year old amateur who stands an imposing 5' 7" tall and weighs in at 120 lbs and who averaged 292 yards off the tee in R1 on Thursday. He ultimately missed the cut at the end of R2. By 4 strokes.

But that doesn’t mean everything surrounding him isn’t still misfitting. He is technically not old enough to use Detroit Golf Club’s men’s locker room, though exceptions are made this week. When I lived in Florida, the Air Force had a nice course that we paid based on or rank/GS level. A general might pay $75-100, an airman might pay $20.
But the other courses around there we went to were consistently $60-$80, and we would go at early bird times or when we could find deals.
