What does it say to the players and program at Wyoming though?
If he really did interview, thats a hell of a slap in the face.
He goes back to the team and says he didn't think he had a snowball's chance in hell but he went through the interview process for the experience of interviewing for a P5 job. He will say after he builds the program up, he will get opportunities and will need that experience to insure he is making the best decision when it comes. He will say they still have a lot of work to do at Wyoming and his dedication hasn't changed, he just needed to see the process. That is what they all say.
Yeah its kind of a slap. I mean players sign on for 4 or 5 years and hear all the top about dedication and those who stay will be champions... and hes looking to get the fuck out after 2!
Choosing a shitty place like Laramie Wyoming sucks enough but when you go because of a coach... its a slap in the face with a dick.
If I was a recruit...

I would be open to interviews if lots of people said I was gonna get fired.
