In all seriousness, really no one is interested in FCS call-ups until they're really interested in FCS call-ups.
He said he's gotten 3 or 4 phone calls from FCS schools but he doesn't think thats in the Conference best interest. I think he of the mindset that its not smart to add until anything happens with the PAC 12. If the Pac 12 falls apart he could see some bigger name teams as the default conference. But if the Pac 12 stays together, which I'm thinking is likely, they may not have a choice.Quote:

He didn't identify the schools as FCS..He just said institutions..3 of them are almost certainly New Mexico State, UTEP and Texas State..They call all the time..
Fox and CBS told the conference that they would not bump up the payout during the term of this contract. What some of you here see as arrogance or fear is really nothing more than money. Or the lack thereof..
The conference could lose some schools but that doesn't mean they will add to replace them..2026 is when things might happen..Then again, they might not.
