Re: A new and better FBS thread
Big12 will survive and PAC will survive. People said the Big12 would die a year ago, but it did not. FBS is heading toward a 2/3/4 structure. I don’t think CUSA makes it. It would be nice if the B1G/SEC just left, but I don’t think they will
I can’t see Cal/Stanford cozying up with Boise/SDSU but I can see them taking land grants from CO and UT. PAC will be different and strive to keep a true regional footprint with a facade of academic elitism. They already know they are in the 2nd tier
B1G really wants ND and they now have USC
Re: A new and better FBS thread
NDSU & BOISE ST to BIG 12 would be fantastic, NDSU should be on the freakin phone ASAP with BIG 12 saying
"if we build a 45k stadium and play 1 or 2 games at US BANK a year will you let us in!"

Why would they not take Colorado State instead? Or steal Colorado from the PAC 12? Mountain West may not exist
Re: A new and better FBS thread
I think everything depends on B1G's intentions. I've seen people with 'sources' say everything from they're holding at 16 to wanting a superconference of up to 24, which would be wild. If the latter, expect the SEC to do the same with the other P5 trying. I think at least one entire conference disappears then, too much consolidation and few if any G5 schools meet the new standard.

Work your sources bro... pump this shit up!
Re: A new and better FBS thread
The Big XII just named a new commissioner this week. He's set to start on August 1st so they are in transition right now.
Don't forget that our sports that don't use an oblong, brown ball don't move the needle for other conferences.

Pat Forde had this back in 2020. Sure would be nice! We would win the Great Midwest division in year 1.

Let’s come back down to earth! Big 12 is not happening in the next decade. MWC or a new G5 is our only shot. Focus on reality!!!!

Why would we play all these games at US Bank if we had a 45k seater? Lmaoo
