Carson will rise above and last year he was 27 & 7 I predict 35 & 8 for 2022. book it.

Yeah it’s being overlooked that he had a good year last year.
No chance this is his last year in the league IMO.

Especially for a guy that loves the outdoors, doesn't have to care about money anymore, has a family, and I could see easily retiring young to maybe coach.
The practice facility is in Ashburn, VA. He could probably live in West Virginia if he wanted to. His enthusiasm for the outdoors shouldn’t be impeded by playing for Washington.

Maybe Wentz is just the self-sabotaging idiot that all the evidence suggests he is. His biggest enemy is himself.

That is too far in the distant past. Whatever Maris fans left are circling the drain.
Sucks to say but what's happening to Wentz is starting to show some blame his way. You can explain all the Philadelphia reports away, but the fact that Indianapolis cut him loose, ate their investment from him, with no QB in the wings, on a team entering the prime and Frank Reich who believed in him, says a LOT. Does anyone have any inside info on how Wentz is handling all of this? If I were him i would start questioning if some of the reports are true and take a good look in the mirror.
Say what you want about the problems in Indy, no NFL organization is THAT dumb to just take an account 2 games and make a decision like this moving forward. There has to be more to issues with Wentz that point to leadership and locker room personality, and don't give me no sauce argument because that is long in the past.

Roger Maris had a movie made about him.
Have to think he'd have been rather popular he was around in the era of ESPN.

I have been his biggest supporter but you have to wonder if some of this is true and he's just not a good dude in the locker room. Bison fans including myself thought players would LOVE him as a leader and teammate and that has NOT happened in Philadelphia or Indianapolis.

Popular? Did you watch the movie?
He got done worse than Carson and deserved less of it.

I just pray Carson can bring gawd to Washington eh.
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
If you follow any of his NFL team mates I haven't really seen anything from any of them that didn't like Carson. I'm not into anonymous media sources I'll trust guys willing to put their names to it.

Yankee fans are awful. That hasn't changed. But bad press is still a measure of popularity/fame.

Probably true. He is married and had 2 kids. His priorities have changed. God wife children and then his vocation.

That's the thing though, nobody really comes for his back either. He's probably a well liked guy. But I get the sense that players don't think of him as someone who's going to lead their franchise moving forward either. He was only in Indy for a year but nobody is really speaking up either way on this. He obviously didn't impress any of his teammates who practice with him everyday and carried on in a way that had his coaches and front office actually think less about him. They work with him every day.

Trubisky will be a Giant. I thought Carson would be a Steeler.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Lived in the swamp for 15 years (but was more than ready to leave when I did). Much closer to the boonies than NY, Philly, Boston, etc.
MD panhandle, eastern shore, WVa all have nice rural areas. Dolly Sods wilderness area comes to mind. Heck, in DC proper it’s really not that hard to disappear into the trees. His biggest problem will be Dan Snyder …
What are the fans saying? I always enjoyed watching the Redskins lose, mostly because of the fans.

THIS. the media and Dbag fans can hate him all they want. NOT 1 TEAMMATE of his has ripped on him or pointed out an actual event that happened.
Hell Jonathan Taylor at ProBowl 1 month ago said I LOVE CARSON the PLAYER and CARSON the MAN even more
so screw off media/fans of Filthadelphia

Maris was the biggest story in Sports not just baseball in 61. Two time MVP and won World Series rings with the Yankees and Cardinals.
Phil Jackson won two NBA Championship rings as a player with the Knicks and a record 11 NBA Championships as the head coach of the Bulls and Lakers.
They will be talking about these two guys long after Wentz is gone from the NFL....unless he turns his career around....which I hope he does!

Anyone else look at the current upcoming future NFL schedules and see what just happened? Week 1? I may implode this September.

The Yankees annoy me...mostly because I am a Twins fan...the Philly fans are on a page all of their own. I mean seriously throwing snowballs at Santa...although Dog Pound fans in Cleveland are kind of special too...

I would also put Maris and Jackson on the Mount Rushmore of North Dakota athletes. I've been trying to think of who I would pick for the other two. Wentz is in the running, but Virgil Hill and Phil Hansen might get my votes.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Really seems like Irsay was the main person pushing for Wentz to be gone. The guy is an emotional mess. Wentz does need a pro-bowl level season to right his career however. Winning allows people to forgive minor flaws. Losing turns minor flaws into major ones.

Isray is the main culprit for sure. My sister has met him on a few occasions and says he’s an arrogant ass. Of course that can be said about many well to do folks

You're aware of Jonathan Taylor's comments about CW? If that's not a strong endorsement and "having his back," I don't know what is.
