I'm not certain the powers that be are that much different. They are still followers, not leaders...look at COA. If they could have stopped us from doing it, would they have?

It should not be news anywhere because it should not occur. it simply bad form and well they are no longer the SIOUX. If you want to insult them, I mean realty insult them dont refer them as the sioux as keeping that name seems to be what the care about most.

It will occur though....and it will be irrelevant to all eyes outside of this local area (and possibly outside of an occasional editorial, widely ignored by people IN the local area too).

The anti-SSS folks are making mountains out of molehills here.

Also, for those interested, the line has dropped to NDSU -27.5 and the o/u has risen to 48

I do get a chuckle out of all the people getting bent out of shape over the possibility of the SSS chant. A) Its going to happen. B) Its not going to be a big deal.

SSS does not get under their skin at all, but refusing to call them the sioux sure does. A better chant would be WHO SS or what seems to be even better.... Sundogs SS. I believe a fighting sundog chant caused one knucklehead to get so enraged he was escorted out of a WF bar last weekend,
